Returning to Ireland for a visit from a life overseas of corporate work structures and long hours, Mike & I began plotting how to turn our long-held vision of a idyllic eco-retreat into a reality. It was one of those spectacularly sunny days as we turned off the main road and began tootling along the bóithríns (little roads) into the heartland of East Clare. As we finally turned off onto what looked to be a dirt track, all expectations fell away and our minds began to soar. At the top of this little lane was an area of such unspoilt, untouched beauty that we were blown away. It was magical, it was perfect. Our dreams began to take solid form... Fast forward a couple of years since that day and still, every morning, I get that same feeling. We are delighted to have the chance to share this beautiful space with you, and hopefully, have you experience the same magic that has blessed us every day since.
