       Valuables

  • Please do not leave any valuables in your accommodation if you go out.

  • Valuables can be locked in a safety deposit box at request.

  • Cúlú Fia Wild Glamping is not responsible for any damage or theft of personal belongings.

       Campfires

  •  ONLY Firewood purchased on site can be burned in the fire pits. The first night’s firewood is provided free of charge. Subsequently, firewood can be purchased for €5 per night. A healthy woodland needs the decaying matter of deadwood to sequester carbon back into the soil so please do not gather firewood from the woods. Anyone who damages trees or natural habitats in the area will be asked to leave without a refund.

  • Campfires must be kept small – please do not burn paper or cardboard to prevent sparks or hot ash from drifting onto tents.

        Animals

  • Dogs are not allowed on the beds.

  • If dogs get muddy, please give them a rub down before entering the tents.

  • Any damage to property due to staining, chewing etc. must be compensated.

  • All dogs must be kept under close supervision. As there are farm animals, deer and wild horses in the area, please keep them on a lead if they have a strong instinct to chase things.

  • Please pick up & dispose of poo. Bags are available at request.

  • Our dogs are still getting used to having guests. Please do not approach them unless one of us is present.

       Insects

  • Midgies! On cloudy days, the midgies may wish to get up close and personal. We find the best repellent to be Avon Skin So Soft. A bottle has been placed in the shower unit, feel free to try it! We also have bottles to sell for €5. Smoke is also a deterrent so they are unlikely to bother you around the fire pit. Citronella candles and coils have been supplied for your use but please do not use these in the tents.

  • Ticks: As deer roam freely on these lands, unfortunately there is also a healthy tick population. Please be aware that ticks can carry Lyme's disease so be sure to use insect repellent, wear trousers in long grass and check yourself (& any children) regularly. If you do get bitten, let us know and we will assist you to remove it safely.

       Covid-19

  • In line with government guidelines, social distancing (2m apart) must be maintained.  Please read the guidelines and remind the members of your party to maintain a suitable distance from other guests. Guests not following guidelines will be asked to leave without a refund.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
